– Adam Yale
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Adam was born in Denver, CO, before moving to Omaha as a child. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. In 1997, he went to work for First Manhattan Co., an investment advisory firm in New York, NY as an analyst of publicly-traded real estate securities and direct real estate investments.

In 2000, Adam moved to Denver, CO, where he was the director of finance for a biotechnology firm, and later, an operations and product development manager at a specialty finance company. He earned his Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Denver.

He and his wife Sarah returned to Omaha in 2003, where Adam led a startup institutional investment advisory business for The SilverStone Group (now a Hub International company). In 2005, he returned to the investment business.

From 2006 until the 2022 merger with Lawson Kroeker, Adam was the sole Principal at Red Cedar Capital, LLC, the Registered Investment Advisory firm that he founded to invest on behalf of clients, employing a fundamentals-based investing strategy. Adam always believed that his clients would be best served by an advisory team, and it took him a long time to find the combination of integrity, rigor and skill that attracted him to join his colleagues at Lawson Kroeker.

Yale currently serves on the Westside Community Schools Board of Education and as a Trustee of Methodist Health Systems. Previously, he served on both Westside and Omaha Public Schools Facility Task Forces, the Bellevue University Investment Committee, the NorthStar Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of Omaha Foundation Board.

Sarah and Adam have three sons and a very large dog, Gertrude.
