Patrick Riordan

Director of Client Services and Business Development
I believe most people have a goal they want to accomplish with their financial assets, but many people struggle with getting their plans implemented. I enjoy not only helping people develop a plan consistent with their goals but what I really enjoy is helping them build a portfolio designed to meet their goals and objectives.
– Patrick Riordan
Director of Client Services and Business Development

After completing high school at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Faribault, Minnesota; Patrick received his bachelor’s degree in finance in 1984 from the Creighton Heider College of Business in Omaha.

Patrick began his investment career with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in Minneapolis — an office that worked exclusively with financial institutions. In 1986 Patrick had the opportunity to transfer to Merrill Lynch’s Omaha office, where he focused on working with financial institutions in the Omaha area.

In 2012, Pat started thinking about pursuing different opportunities in the investment management field. Having over 25 years of experience providing investment services to the Omaha investment community, something told him Lawson Kroeker was the perfect fit.

Since joining Lawson Kroeker in 2012, Patrick has assisted many individuals and families in managing their relationship with the firm. “Lawson Kroeker’s size provides us the opportunity to be closer with clients and to offer well-considered investment advice,” says Patrick. “We are able to help clients achieve their goals and objectives because decisions are made in-house from a well-qualified and experienced team.”

Patrick doesn’t let much grass grow under his feet. In his free time, he can be found at various social gatherings, non-profit functions, concerts, and sporting events. Despite the busy schedule he keeps in Nebraska, he has managed to visit all 50 states. Patrick also serves on the Creighton Heider College of Business Advisory Board.
